Main Category:  AFTER Listening to the whole CD, decide which Main Musical Style that this CD should be listed under. Refer to the "Main Category" Drop Down Box Listing.

Sub-Category(s):  Pick up to 2 additional Musical Styles that this CD could also be listed under. The recording may only 'fit' under one Category, so this step is optional.

Song Characteristics: As you listen to each song, choose the characteristics that apply to this specific song that you are listening to. IF it is an Instrumental, then you should also select the predominant musical instrument playing the MELODY heard during the song. (Guitar, Harp, Flute, Piano, Synthesizer, etc.)
Acapella: This song has ONLY Vocals with no Instruments Playing (exception: drums)
Chant:  This song is a Chant Song or has Chanting in it.
Choir:  This song has a choir singing in it.
Drumming: This song has prominent drumming (like African drumming) on it.
Ritual:  This song would be good for Ritual Use.
Tempo:  Fast, Medium, Slow, Very Slow/No Tempo
Vocal:  This song has prominent Vocals in it.  (Sung Lyrics)
Instrumental:  This song is an Instrumental (No Sung Lyrics)  Please classify by the prominent instrument playing the melody.  (Guitar, Piano, Harp, etc.)

Sound Clip:  AFTER you have listened to the whole CD, choose only Three (3) songs that you think show off a wide range of style from the CD. In other words, the songs should sound different if possible. Select the "Check Box" next to the 3 that you choose.

Start Time: Now that you’ve chosen which 3 songs that should be made into sound clips, go back and find a good starting point for each of the 3 sound clips only. Note that each sound clip will only last approximately 45 to 50 seconds. So find the Best Point in that specific song to start the Sound Clip from that will be a good example of the song for the next 45 to 50 seconds. Usually, but not always, this is the Chorus of the Song.

Need More Space?  If a CD happens to have more than 20 tracks on it, then finish up by submitting another form with the remaining tracks on it, being careful to fill out the Title, Artist, Main and Sub Categories exactly the same as before.  Make sure you check the "Continuation" Check Box in the upper right corner of the form.
